How a copyright notice is usually written
The common form is the symbol, the year and the owner's name: © 2026 Your Name. In countries that belong to the Berne Convention, including the United States, a notice isn't required for a work to be protected: copyright exists once the work is created.
℗ for sound recordings
℗ (U+2117 SOUND RECORDING COPYRIGHT) marks copyright in a sound recording, as opposed to the song or text recorded.
